With the imminent arrival of Bill Summers to Australia bringing his amazing Quintet, I thought it timely to lay down the incredible Headhunter's version of Watermelon Man with his bottle neck intro; just to get everyone in the mood. Inside Vibe is looking this week at the new release from Jazzman, Spiritual Jazz Vol. 3, particularly.. but also a pile of other new releases and not so new things.
I do hope you enjoy.
Maybe see you around the shows, I am DJing at Bill Summers at The Prince on October 5th. And a pile of other shows but that is the exciting thing in the next few weeks.
