With war raging further into the Middle East my thoughts are constantly dragged to the images of children in parent's arms being carried in despair through scarred city scapes. This show I have to say is for my daughter Sunny Yani and all the other children out there in the hope that they can one day do a better job of saving the world than we have. I do not dwell on the impossible and the tears but head into an optimistic tone with new NZ artist D Kamali and their latest single "Decide" which we all must do in times like these. My show then heads into some territory on the hope of finding love and peace with the latest offering from Aloe Blacc, Oh No and Sydney outfit Resurrectors with a Fat Freddy' Drop touch to finish on an up note of dance tunes. The epilogue, I Feel Blue by French pianist Alif Tree, reflects my mood these past weeks.

Do we stand for tears, anger and despair or optimism, hope and freedom for the oppressed. i feel like I am living in 1983 all over again!

As far as I know, I am not a robot.
