END OF SHOW

probably only a dozen djs fom around the world can tell you that they are in the business for almost 40 years now. i repeat, f or t y years! he started djing in 1967 when the djs job was simply to keep the crowd dancing to tunes they like (which still should be the main aim of playing records to an audience, well, ... but with tunes they probably have not heard yet, but then love...) , remixed none other then the temptations in 1990, is still producing soulful music with the east west connection, had several labels like black on black, now chilli funk, does radioshows, writes for big muzik magazines, ... and is still travelling around the world with his records to play them out everywhere - although he tried to stop this in 2006. but the requests were too massive. i am talkin about a legend, dr. bob jones, who delivered this week's mix, which is more a show within a show! his definition of soulmusic goes far beyond the shortminded regular soul weekender visitor - soul is a feelin, so is housemusic . . . thanks very much , dr. bob jones and stay in that business for another 40 years, at least!
happy anniversary.
out of my box i tried to keep it oldschool in the beginning, then switching to new bits & pieces with a twist. that soulsearching twist. hope you like it - keep it locked and until next week with a pure soulpatrol box.

enjoy the music,
michael
