Hey there, I’m Jed, the founder of StraightUp. My personal focus is mainly Cyber Security Recruitment and Executive Search. We’re a small team (for now), so I still do a bit of everything! I’ve been recruiting in the tech industry since I was 18, so I’ve built up over a decade’s worth of solid IT knowledge and experience mastering the recruitment process. More importantly, I’ve developed many great relationships that allow me to act as a connector for those in my network. My approach to my work is to be consultative and transparent; I aim to build trust with my clients by doing what I say I will and acting in their best interest. Outside of work, I play a little guitar and (try to) sing. I'm also a regular gym-goer, having started my career as an apprentice in the fitness industry.

Hi, I'm Zak, my approach is simple: listen to my clients and trust the process, providing a seamless recruitment experience for all. I've worked in various industries, but my recent experience in a crypto start-up fueled my passion for technology. Outside of work, I find balance through outdoor activities, community work, and slow-cooked meats. In the office, I'm known for providing terrible jokes, life advice, and sharing pictures of my kids - the in-house dad.

Hi, I’m Caitie and I manage the office and design all of StraightUp's social media content. I wear a lot of different hats at work, so you might find me sketching away on Figma, taking/editing photos, writing LinkedIn content or picking out and building furniture for the office. My main focus has been to showcase via our social media and website, the passion and dedication I see our team bring to work everyday. For fun I love being around art and music, or outside in nature. But when I'm not there I'd be doing yoga or pilates.
